Volkswagen Unveils New Compact Coupe

True to its standards of building fast but fuel-efficient cars, Volkswagen introduced its New Compact Coupe (NCC) in Detroit, Michigan at the North American International Auto Show (January 11 to 24). The NCC will be the first in a long line of sporty and fuel-efficient vehicles Volkswagen rolls out in 2010 – 2011.

The New Compact Coupe is a hybrid drive, but unlike other manufacturer’s hybrids, it’s actually fun to drive, futuristic, and fast. It is said to have “sports appeal and sharp styling yet is remarkably elegant – positioned between the Europe’s bestselling sports car, the Scirocco, and the internationally successful CC.”
