After a six year break, Volkswagen is finally bringing back a diesel-Beetle to the Volkswagen line. This all-new Beetle is comprised of a 2.0-liter direct-injection diesel engine that is rated at 140hp and 236 lb-ft of torque. At Volkswagen SouthTowne, Costumers will have the option to choose between a six-speed manual transmission or a dual-clutch DSG six-speed automatic transmission.
The 2013 Volkswagen Beetle TDI‘s turbocharged engine allows the car to get an estimated 29 mpg in the city and up to 39 mpg on the highway. The all-new Beetle TDI may have a fuel-effecient and powerful engine, but its interior is what has really garnished praise.
The redesigned Beetle has an interior built with high-quality materials and has an aesthetically pleasing design. The standard base model comes some great features. You can enjoy 17-inch wheels, leatherette seating, Bluetooth connectivity, steering wheel audio controls, keyless entry, a push-button start, and an eight-speaker stereo.
